We would like to ask volunteers to join us to get Teddy Ready for the Holidays!
The event takes place @ Abeille on Sunday, October 10th from 12pm-3:30pm.
So bring your knitting needles, sewing machines or a glue gun. Whatever is your favorite medium to dress these teddys.
Doreen, our hostess, will be coordinating the event and doing the drop-offs. If it is a success, we’ll schedule some more before the holidays. Abeille will be providing the space, some sewing machines, patterns, fabric scraps and buttons. If you have fabric, yarn, embellishments and tools, please bring them along as well. The bears are about 15″ high and come in the tan, brown and white.
We hope you can share in this event. Please be sure to register with the “DIY Crafters” on meetup.com for this event – http://www.meetup.com/bostondiycrafts/calendar/14623510/

Bead Swap on September 9th

Whether you are in school or not, we all have “back to school” rituals. Many of us like to clean and and organize. So tackle your bead box and come on over to our bead swap tomorrow from 7pm – 9pm.

It will be an informal event. You can bag your beads and determine a value or simply barter or swap on the spot. If you aren’t the bartering type, we will collect your beads and donate them to either the Dana Faber Blum Resource Center or make them available to our young patrons, it’s your choice.

Come join us for this free event. Refreshments will be served.
