Chic and Charming’s Inspirations

We are pleased to have Guest Blogger, “Sophia Charming” of Chic and Charming share some of her favorite inspirations:

When it come to inspiration, the blogosphere is an excellent source of prose, pictures, music and videos. Personally, I find images most inspiring. I follow a huge number of blogs online to inspire crafting, decorating and stylish living in general.Here are a few of my favorites:

• Tumblr! I ADORE tumblr. Personally, I have a tumblr site that I use as my “online scrapbook for inspiring images” (chicandcharming.tumblr.com) But, I also subscribe to quite a few other fabulous tumble blogs: Bohemea, Kari-shma, Kbelle, Uppereast Side, Sweet Home Style.
• First off, This is Glamorous and A Glamorous Little Side Project consitently put together posts full of beautiful and inspring images.This is Glamorous covers a wide range of glam topics with maybe a bit of an emphasis on decor, while its sister site focuses more on fashion and personal style.

• As a lingerie designer I keep an eye on Frou Frou Fashionista to spot the latest trends and popular color choices. I also like to reinterpret some fancy designer brands into affordable pasties and pastie kits!
• The Paris Apartment puts a classic french spin on all things stylish.I often find inspiration here for paper crafts.
• The Oh Joy! Blog features inspiration and design finds from designer Joy Cho. Cho is the co-author of the soon to be released book Creative, Inc., which promises to be a great read for anyone intrested in starting their own creative small business.
• Black, White and Yellow is another decor heavy blog. What can I say? I dig decor blogs. They often have great art and really interesting color insipirations. Maybe I should have been an interior decorator in a previous life

• Maquette is a brilliant pattern designer, I especially love her naughty toile. She posts inspiration and favorite designs on her blog.
• At Gathering Spriggs you can find quite an array of inspiration, but I especially love her handmade features.
• Poppy Talk does a wonderful job currating handmade goods available online and always has an amazing selection of goodies on her blog.

• CoCo’s Tea party always has a fabulous collection of fashion images.
